OECS Education Sector Strategy (OESS) Final Validation Meeting

November, 2019

St. Lucia

TDC Presenter: Susan Branker Greene, Principal Consultant

Following the Mid Term Review and presentation of the draft report at a meeting with Chief Education Officers, Directors, Planners and members of the MTR steering committee, the consultants from TDC and Mindbloom Consulting were given extensive feedback on their draft report, which they incorporated in a revised report. In addition, the consultants worked on the development of a costed implementation plan for 2019-2021 which integrated additional data collected from the Member States. This provided a more current picture of the progress being made on the strategy.

Therefore, a final validation meeting was held with senior education officials from the Member States and members of the Mid Term Review (MTR) Steering Committee to further validate the consultants’ findings. There were also discussions concerning the viability of the revised recommendations and the costed implementation plan.
