Roberta Springer-Proverbs
Research Associate / TDCMrs Springer-Proverbs holds a Bachelor of Arts (1st Class Hons.) in Psychology and is currently reading for a PhD in Education Psychology at University of the West Indies. She brings significant experience in research methodology and design and has taught courses on Research Methods; Social Work and Statistics and Research Design at the Barbados Community College and the University of the West Indies since 2009.
Mrs Springer-Proverbs has developed and executed quantitative and qualitative research projects for both private and public sector agencies including the University of the West Indies and the National Productivity Council. In 2012, Mrs Springer-Proverbs was a member of the team to carry out an evaluation of the Caribbean Regional Strategic Framework (CRF) on HIV/AIDS. The scope of work included a full desk review related to the current country assessments and Strategic Frameworks on HIV/AIDS.
Among the presentations and papers produced by Mrs. Springer-Proverbs, she co-authored a paper on “Quality or Quantity: Online communication and adolescent friendship quality in Barbados” presented at the Caribbean Regional Conference of Psychology, Bahamas in 2011.
